In need of PASS Volunteers!

What is P.A.S.S.?

PASS (Providing Academic and Self-Esteem Support) is a school-based program designed to boost the academic skills and self-esteem of identified students.

Volunteers are paired with students to work one-on-one for 30 mins. each week during school hours.

PASS volunteers serve as mentors as well as tutors for these students, providing consistent support, encouragement and modeling.

Thank you to all of the SES families that contributed to our Student Council Caring Bags.  The 5th grade put together 94 bags containing a toothbrush, toothpaste, toiletry items, socks or gloves, and a snack.  They also put together 75 bags with just a toothbrush and toothpaste.  The bags will be distributed to various local agencies.

They will go to the Cold Weather Shelters for our folks experiencing homelessness in Jefferson and Morgan counties, and to the WV Coalition to End Homelessness most likely. We keep some in our office for those who come in but we'll share with our partner organizations.
