KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION DAY IS COMING!  

April 22, 2021 will be Kindergarten Registration Day for JCPS for the 2021-2022 School Year.  Your child MUST be FIVE years old by June 30, 2021 to enroll in kindergarten in WV. 

Please complete the pre-registration form so that you can be contacted to arrange an appointment time on April 22nd to collect all the necessary paperwork that will be needed for enrollment.  We will direct you to the paperwork that needs to be completed for registration for the 2021-2022 school year.

If you have questions regarding Kindergarten Registration please contact the school office at (304) 876-6270. We will not enroll homeschooled children at this time.  We will contact families about re-enrolling homeschoolers for another time in early May.

If you know a friend or neighbor that has a child who is eligible for kindergarten for next year, please forward this information to them.  

PLEASE LOCATE YOUR CHILD'S ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE FOR APRIL 22ND.  REGISTRATION PAPERWORK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT THE ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE. 

Your physical address must be in the Shepherdstown Elementary Attendance Zone.  The school will need to have verification of your address through a mortgage statement or rental contract.
